Transfer forest officials or face stir; UTTA leaders tell CCF

The tribals leaders in the state have given deadline of seven days to the forest department to transfer two of its officers from Khotigao wild life sanctuary accusing them of harassing the local inhabitants.
United Tribals Association Alliance (UTTA) President Prakash Velip along with the Poinginium MLA Ramesh Tawadkar and other leaders who met Chief Conservator of Forest Dr Shashi Kumar in the city today said that if two officers -- RFO Paresh Parab and Anand Mestri -- are not transferred than they will have to resort to the state wide agitation.
