Transport responsible for only 10 pc of SPM, says Pollution Board study

Even as environmentalists are crying hoasse about the ill-effects of suspended particulate matter (SPM) emissions on the human health and there is a move to ban the sale of diesel passenger ears in the National capital Region (NCR), a study undertaken by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reveals that only 10 per cent of SPM in the Capital come from the transport sector.
