Adopt a tree and reap benefits! The Forest Department's latest drive to enlist support for the tree adoption or Tree Patta Scheme has met with a fair amount of success. Already, more than 25,000 persons in Karnataka have taken up this scheme to nurture and protect 2,85,672 trees.
