Trees felled illegally at Doongarwadi, says locals

The 55-acre green enclave of the Parsi Towers of Silence on Malabar Hill was once so densely wooded that tigers lived there. Now, local residents and community members allege that trees in the forested area have been felled unlawfully during the past year. They blame its caretaker, the Bombay Parsi Panchayat (BPP).
