At least 24 trees in Navy Nagar (Mumbai) have been illegally hacked to make way for a swimming pool. The trees, reported to be both small and large ones, were located in the military parade ground opposite St. Joseph's School, near R.C. Church in Colaba. However defence public relations officer C.K. Singh denied that 24 trees had been cut.
