This tribal area barely 12 kilometers from Mungawali sub-division has no electricity connections even after 55 years of independence, something contrary to Madhya Pradesh state government's claims as to the electrification in the state. Tribals here are living under the abject poverty. They don't have enough money to buy fuel for lamps. They have no work even in the fields of local farmers for they do not allow them to work.
