Villagers from 365 villages held a huge protest rally holding banners and posters that read "Gaon mein aaye din todh phod bandh karo." The mahapanchayat was also attended by Lok Janshakti Party President Ram Vilas Paswan, party vice-president Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Delhi BJP chief Madan Lal Khurana and MP Talib Hussain.
