The Pakistan Government plans to replace about one hundred thousand two-stroke engine auto-rickshaws with 4 strokes, phase wise, with a view to check growing air and noise pollution in major cities. The number of two stroke rickshaws has substantially increased over the years, resulting in increase in emissions level.
