The Udupi Taluk (Mangalore) Panchayat meeting has decided to entrust the investigation into the felling and removal of trees in the Ajjarkad TP quarters compound to the forest department. The meeting held on Thursday was attended by president Anita DOS's, vice-president Poornima, Tahasildar K M Saleem, Udupi Town Planning Authority president T Gopalkrishna Shetty and others.
