Governments across the developing countries, including India, are battling with the inescapable problems of emissions from their aged, overloaded and poorly maintained vehicle on their bad roads in cities and towns. Depleting ozone, climatic changes and global warming are threats forcing them to act. Many have few choices and are looking for systems, suggestions and methodologies. To capitalise on this opportunity to serve and do business, a delegation from the UK under the Indo-British Partnership is touring India explaining how Britian has cut emissions from its vehicles and reduced accidents on the roads.
