A group of six students of the Jorhat Engineering College have developed a unique system intending to put an end to illegal tree felling in the forests. All the six are BE (Instrumentation Engineering) final year students : Abhinov Gogoi, Basant Narayan Singh, Pankaj Das, Anaya Mitra, Prasun Deb Thakur and Dibrugarh's local lad, Mithun Chakraborty.
