A 2 billion pounds, seven year mission is about to come to a climax as a spacecraft the size of a small bus sails through the rings of Saturn to begin a four year study of one of the solar system's most mysterious planets. Cassini-Huygens, a NASA European Space Agency joint venture, has already travelled 3 billion km, and made two flynys of Venus, one of Earth and one of Jupiter.
