In a bid to eradicate child and bonded labour in the carpet belt of Uttar Pradesh, a special project and action plan have been launched at the initiative of the National Human Rights Commission.The project, prepared by the labour commissioner, envisages taking of inventory of all the looms located in the carpet belt consisting of Mirzapur, Badohi and Varanasi districts, NHRC said in Delhi on Thursday.
