The Delhi government would be inviting tenders early next year for the proposed 62.5 km rail network project connecting the Capital to the suburbs in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. "After a lot of perseverance by the Delhi government and the NCR Board, both the states have agreed to implement the project. Much of the time was spent awaiting their approval. Now, once we have got it, the project can start unbridled,' said an official.
The rail link would be similar to the non-AC metro running across the three corridors.
