Barring the launch of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), the Urban Development Ministry went into conceiving during 2005, and not delivering. Delhi kept waiting for the regularisation of unauthorised colonies, notwithstanding the recommendations of GT Nanavati Commission. The Master Plan for Delhi 2021 did not get any impetus. It is now likely to be ready by March 2006, a belated New Year gift for Delhi'tes.
