Former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on Sunday said that seeing the pollution in the Gomti river in Lucknow, his blood boils. "Mera khoon khaulta hai Gomti ko dekh kar. A lot needs to be done to cleanse the river. I am an MP from Lucknow, but I also have a strong emotional bond with this city. I took admission in law after post-graduation in Lucknow. My mother breathed her last in this city and my father's mortal remains were submerged in the waters of the Gomti,' he said here on Sunday.
