Veerappan carries Rs 25 lakh on his head

The Tamil Nadu Government on Thursday announced a reward of Rs 25 lakh for those who provide vital clues to capture the elusive forest brigand, Veerappan. Announcing this after a high-level meeting with officials to review the operations to be conducted by the Special Task Force (STF), Chief Minister J Jayalalitha said that while a reward of Rs 20 to Rs 25 lakh would be given to those who provide clues to nab Veerappan, Rs 15 lakh would be given for giving clues to nab his close associate Sethukuli Govindan.
