The Centre's decision to postpone a rule making it mandatory for all four-wheelers registered from June 1 to have catalytic convertors is a setback to the goal of achieving a pollution-free environment.Considered by environmentalists as one of the most important steps in reducing pollution levels, the move now stands deferred till August 1.
