Deputy Science Minister Pornthep Techapaibul has so far failed to come up with evidence to back his accusation that some villagers have filed false claims for compensation for lost farmland because of a dam construction project in Si Sa Ket. Since his assuming the office four months ago, Mr Pornthep has been pursuing action against villagers who have already been compensated for farmland inundated as a result of the construction of Rasi Salai Dam five years earlier.
