Water bodies to be developed, says Hooda

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that the state government has decided to implement a new scheme for development of water bodies in the state. Under this scheme, Kotla lake in Mewat would also be developed and the stored water would be utilized to irrigate fields by the farmers in the area.
Hooda said this while addressing a delegation of residents of Mewat who had called on him in Delhi to express their gratitude for approval of Delhi-Gurgaon-Sohna-Nuh-Ferozepur Jhirka-Alwar rail line project in railway budget. The delegation was led by MLA of Nuh Aftab Ahmed. — TNS
