The great water conservation campaign which brought this year's Ramon Magsaysay Award to Mr. Rajendra Singh of Alwar west westward this weekend to touch the terrain of the Thar desert. As the waterman pledged not to rest on his laurels unless he strikes the water in the desert, the royals, the businessman and the common people joined him in the move.
