An ambitious project has been launched in Madhya Pradesh to undertake water conservation activities on private land across the state. Under this project, farmers would be given mid-term loan up to Rs.10,000 through primary cooperatives agriculture credit societies for constructing water conservation structures, depending of tanks, ponds and wells on their own land.
