The water row between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka is assuming serious proportions, with Telugu Desam MPs from Andhra Pradesh deciding to represent the State's case to President A P J Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on May 26. Simultaneously, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is also mounting pressure on the NDA government to pull up the Karnataka government for harming the interests of a lower riparian State like Andhra Pradesh. Over the last few days, in fact, Naidu seems to be worked up on the issue and he has lambasted his Karnataka counterpart S M Krishna over the sharing of Krishna waters.....Editorial
