"Recently we visited the project site which is very attractive, as a family park and the 12th century dated Chinamallavaram Venkat-eswara Swamy temple are adding beauty to the project site. Officials should immediately develop it as a tourist spot", said Mr S. Chand who recently visited Gundlakamma with his family. Like him, many other people are also demanding the same. "Project is easily accessible as it is only 3-4 km from NH-5. ", said Mr PSC Bose of Vijayawada who visited the project with his family on returning from Srisailam. "We were dreaming about getting potable water daily, instead of once in three days, but it seems that our dreams will not come true", said Mr A. Raju of Santha peta.
