The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board is carrying out in full swing the project of augmenting the water supply to Valparai in Coimbatore district and 10 other areas, Local Administration and Rural Development Minister M.K. Stalin told the Assembly. At present, the Valparai Municipality was maintaining the service level of 42 litres per capita per day (LPCD) to people of Valparai and eight localities under the limits of the Valparai town. The supply was being made from the Akkamalai check dam. Besides, two other localities
