The Haryana Government has decided to increase the rates of sewerage and drinking water connections for domestic, commercial and industrial establishments in the state. The charges of drinking water are being increased by 50 per cent whereas that of sewerage by 30 per cent. However, these rates have not been officially announced so far, but would be made public when the order is received from the Public Health Department.
