With the aim to meet the growing demand for drinking water the Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is planning to allow more internationally reputed foreign firms to set up water treatment plants at private level. The Board of Directors of WASA in a meeting decided in principal to float an international tender soon to sort out a competent firm to install a plant near Meghna Ghat in near future.
