The West Bengal state government today decided to explore possibilities of recycling stagnant flood waters in Malda and Murshidabad to cope with the drinking water crisis in the two districts. Public health engineering and housing minister Goutam Deb said among several other measures to maintain sufficient supply of drinking water in the flood-ravaged areas, accumulated water will be recycled in specially-designed mobile water treatment plants that can be transported from one place to another easily.
