WB gives US $ 320M grant for rural roads, bridges

The World Bank (WB) is to provide a grant assistance of US dollars 320 million to His Majesty's Government for the construction of rural roads and suspension bridges during the next five years. This is the largest amount that WB has provided as grant assistance to Nepal. The amount will be spent in rural access reform and decentralization project in the next five years by the Local Infrastructure Development and Agriculture Road Department, it was informed at a programme organised here, today.
