Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit ended the Delhi Assembly's budget session 2004 with the hope of making Delhi a world-class city. "We have been given the people's mandate once again and we must carry it forward," she said. Emphasising on a realistic rather than a populist government, Dikshit said that the Congress had brought good governance and transparency in the system. "There hasn't been a single scandal in our government. In fact we are one of the only two states to enact the Right to Information Act," she said.
