What's a city without a forest or two?

Those who enjoy tramping and jogging through forested areas, some of them in the very heart of Delhi, like the tract on Siri Fort runs wild in the monsoon. There is plenty of tree cover. This is not a patch on what things used to be, but the city needs its forests. unfortunately, overzealous government agencies with a budget to spend, want to replace forests with parks and landscaped recreational spots. Parks are okay in colonies. But forests should be left alone.
