Nearly one lakh people are yet to get their ration cards under the below poverty line (BPL) scheme launched by the Government. These one lakh people are now finding themselves between the devil and the deep sea as a war of words is underway between the Union and the State civil supplies ministries. They do belong to the economically weaker sections but are apparently not poor enough to qualify for the BPL scheme.
