WHO to fund health projects in Haryana

GURGAON: The World Health Organisation (WHO) has allocated $450,000 for health projects in Haryana.
Speaking at a three-day workshop in city on 'Implementation Research proposal development', Rakesh Gupta, mission director, National Health Mission, Haryana, said that some of the projects address the burning issues in state like implementation of community treatment of pneumonia in children, management of high risk pregnant women, management of severe acute malnutrition at community level and extension of health care to poorest and hard to reach areas.
