Zilla Panchayat meeting directed Zilla Panchayat engineering division to withdraw an action plan of Rs 9.86 crore submitted to the government as an alternative to the aleady submitted action plan of Rs 12.96 crore for drinking water project during 2009-10. Zilla Panchayat President and members took ZP engineering division Executive Engineer Keshavamurthy to task for sending the action plan without discussing it with MLA, ZP President or members.
