World Bank officials in New Delhi today said the organisation was ready to accept a study of West Bengal 's financial position by the state government itself for sactioning loans. The Bank, according to the West Bengal government, had insisted on conducting an state's ability to repay loans. Peeved at this, West Bengal decided not to go in for World Bank funds.
