The World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) are thinking of jointly financing the RS 800-crore integrated water supply and sewerage project for the city. This is the first time that the World Bank is directly nagotiating with the Calcutta Municipal Corporaiton (CMC) over development schemes.
