The World Bank lending for India could resume as early as Thursday in a sign of international encouragement for New Delhi's forward movement on the nuclear issue, a senior US official has said. The official said in an interview on Tuesday that the US was discussing the issue with other major industralised nations and was working to get one loan- for the Andhra Pradesh power sector restructuring programme-- approved by the World Bank on February 18.
