An international trade union organisation has denounced the practice of child labour in Pakistan which it said occurs under dangerous conditions and violates international law. The International Conference on Free Trade Unions (ICTFU) said that about 7,500 children worked without protection in a factory making surgical instruments in the north-eastern city of Sialkot.
