After urging the senior district officials to upgrade the basic facilities in Hazaribagh town last week, BJP leader Yashwant Sinha today took to the streets for a cleanliness drive. With a broom in hand, the new Hazaribagh MP worked in tandem with hundreds of BJP workers to get rid of garbage on the roads. Sinha said that the drive would continue till the town became spic and span. Sources said that during his campaigns for the Lok Sabha election, Sinha had promised the people of Hazaribagh that he would take up their causes and usher in development if they chose him as their representative in Parliament.
