Narmada Bachao Andolan letter to the PM regarding the raising of the Sardar Sarovar Dam Height

It’s a black day for India, injustice has been done to people of Narmada Valley who have been fighting for their life and livelihood for three decades.

In complete violation of the Narmada Water Dispute Tribunal Award and the conditions imposed by Supreme Court 2000 judgement, Narmada Control Authority today gave the permission to increase the height of the dam.
