Angry residents of Bajrang and Mamtanagar societies, who stay in the vicinity of AMC’s Viratnagar health centre open plot, gate crashed into mayor, standing committee chairman and local corporator’s offices on Tuesday to stop the land transfer. The AMC, however, went against these protests on Thursday and held a lottery for providing housing on the open plot.
