Consumers to get fuel info
New Delhi, Sept. 4: Come new year automobile buyers will be better informed about the fuel efficiency of vehicles as SIAM has decided to provide fuel consumption information chart along with other registration documents to consumers at the time of purchase. "Starting January 2009, all automobile makers will begin the process of dis-playing the fuel consum-ption information at the point of sale of passenger cars and two-wheelers, along with the document-ation of the vehicle," Soc-iety of Indian Automobile Manufacturers president, Mr Ravi Kant, said.
