Energy sources of Indian households for cooking and lighting
This report is concerned with the break-up of Indian households by primary source of energy for cooking and primary source of energy for lighting. These break-ups (distributions) are given separately for rural and urban sectors of each State and UT as well as of the country as a whole. The report further investigates whether these distributions vary with household social group, household occupation type, and household economic level as measured by household per capita consumption expenditure.
