The Lucknow bench order was passed by Justice Haider Abbas Raza, the senior vacation judge in response to a public petition which stated that 3 tanneries -- East India Tannery Mills, Prema Tannery and Hasan Tannery, which were operating in Alampur, Barabanki -- were releasing the effluents into the Reth.
