• Bt cotton yield 30 per cent higher than conventional varieties
• Number of pesticide sprays less in Bollgard fields than non-Bt crops
• Bt cotton increased farmers' net profit by Rs 3,126 per acre (Rs 7,737 per hectare)
• 90 per cent of farmers who planted Bollgard cotton intended to purchase it again next time
