AHMEDABAD: A storm threat loomed over the south Gujarat and Saurashtra coasts on Tuesday heralding the onset of monsoon in the state. The Met department warned moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorm activity in northern and southern parts of the state, including Kutch, in 48 hours beginning Tuesday morning.
Pune If rains continue to stay away from the catchment areas, the water for Pune city will last around 20 days. The water storage in Panshet, Khadakwasla, Temghar and Warasgaon dams have dipped to a low of 0.9 TMC.
