The much-hyped Mukhayamantri Annapurna Yojna will be launched in 20 districts of the State today. The scheme will be launched in consumer awareness camps, where food grains will be distributed to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) ration card holder families. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Saturday had launched the Mukhayamantri Annapurna Yojna at Bhopal and Indore. According to official information, in Shivpuri, foodgrains will be distributed in the presence of Uttaranchal Chief Minister Bhuvanchand Khanduri, Shivpuri - Kailash Joshi, Guna - Maya Singh, Ashok Nagar -Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyaa, Dewas - Sumitra Mahajan, Shajapur - Raghunandan Sharma, Mandsaur Dr Satyanarayan Jatia, Neemuch - Babulal Gaur, Sehore- Raisen - Sunderlal Patwa, Rajgarh Vijay Goel, Vidisha - Kailash Joshi, Hoshangabad - Pyareylal Khandelwal, Harda- Prabhat Jha, Sagar- Smriti Irani, Panna, Tikamgarh, Satna - Chief Minister, Chattarpur - Pratap Singh Kuti, Chhindwara- Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate Mukhayamantri Annapurna Yojna, informed BJP state president Narendra Singh Tomar. CM launches Annapurna in Betul Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that adequate food grains would be provided to the poor at subsidised rates to feed their families. Chouhan said this while launching Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana here today. The Chief Minister warned that black marketing of food grains would not be tolerated saying that anyone found indulging in this would be thrown behind bars. Presiding over the function the Minister for Revenue Kamal Patel said that Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana would provide great relief to the poor who are worst affected by backbreaking price rise. Raman Singh launches Annapurna Yojana Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh launched the Mukhya Mantri Annapurna Yojana at Balaghat today. Addressing a massive gathering Dr Raman Singh was all praise for the schemes and programmes being implemented in Madhya Pradesh for all sections of society with special emphasis on the poor and the weak. He said that the scheme would ensure adequate food supply to the poor to feed their families. Minister for Public Health Engineering Choudhary Chandrabhan Singh, Member of Parliament Gaurishankar Bisen, MLAs KD Deshmukh, Bhagat Singh Netam, Bodhsingh Bhagat, Kishore Samarite and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
