Fuel prices to go up in 13 cities

Sandeep Joshi NEW DELHI: From Thursday, petrol and diesel prices will go up in 13 cities, including the four metros, where stricter Bharat Stage-IV emissions norms are being implemented, requiring the sale of upgraded and less polluting fuel. The retail price of petrol will go up by around 50 paise and that of diesel by 26 paise (depending upon the prevailing price and tax structure in various States). The 13 cities that will follow BS-IV emissions norms 1 are: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Surat, Ahmedabad, Pune and Sholapur. In Delhi, all the three oil marketing companies
