Smoke in yet another DTC low-floor bus

NEW DELHI: Hot on the heels of two low-floor Delhi Transport Corporation buses developing snags leading to a fire in one of them on Saturday, yet another bus was hit by a mechanical snag at Sagarpur in West Delhi on Sunday. Half a dozen such incidents have been reported this year. The rear wheels of a low-floor DTC bus plying on Outer Ring Road jammed near a traffic signal at Sagarpur around 8-30 a.m. As smoke began emanating, the 30-odd passengers panicked and rushed out of the bus.
