Colombo: Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama after a recent official visit to Thailand said that Thailand government has agreed to provide 50,000 MT of rice to Sri Lanka. The decision was taken following a discussion Minister Bogollagama held with Thailand's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. The Minister also revealed that the Thailand government has pledged to give their full cooperation to the Sri Lanka's government on its attempt to eliminate terrorism. He added that the two countries discussed ways to promote tourism and strengthen religious ties between them.
